Kids and herbs

Well the last couple days have been a bit hectic!

2 kids can drive you a bit crazy but add in additional needs and you can end up with hell - I am trailing herbs with my eldest to see if we can calm him down and also get him off his Sodium Volporate.

He hates the taste of most herbs so I tend to add it to his milk telling him its special big boy juice - lol it seems to work as he drinks it all! We haven't seen much difference but I'm only using basic herbs from the garden so lavender (Lavandula officinalis) is a main one along with nettle (Urtica dioica). He does seem to be speaking a bit clearer but is just as hyper and active as normal plus even more impatient! Lol

Luckily my youngest doesn't seem to have any problems but there is plenty of time for things to show up! The closer he gets to 10 months uncorrected, the more I can feel panic rise and I watch him more closely - don't want to miss if he has a seizure like Roman did and I didn't even know what it was or how to deal with it!

Herbs are big part of our family now since I started my degree last September, and I seriously miss attending classes and learning loads of things, especially clinic! The smell when you walk into the dispensary is amazing and a feeling of being home is huge! I can't wait to go back- that is if student finance gets sorted!

Well as the eldest is sat here yelling at me to sit on the naughty step and asking continuously to go on his games (educational ones), I had best be off. I hope to be back on here tomorrow but as you can imagine, dealing with these 2 kids can be a bit overwhelming!

Till next time!
